My yoga journey has been exactly that.
Beginning in Sydney over ten years ago it has taken me to innumerable retreats and workshops in Australia, Asia & Europe encompassing many styles and traditions of yoga, before returning home to Hertfordshire.
As an experienced Marathon runner, I have learnt how to use yoga to protect against injuries. I also understand how good teaching can stop yoga itself creating chronic injury.
A great many influences have informed my yoga, but Ashtanga will always form the core of my practice. I am a qualified Ashtanga instructor & have studied extensively the Desikachar tradition
Having experienced the transformative and redeeming effect that
these simple practices have had in my life, I have a genuine desire to share this
knowledge with others.
